Insurance is not accepted at Tuesday Counseling. All services are fully private pay. There are small number of spots open for sliding scale fees, as well as the option to submit a super-bill to your insurance.

We always like to chat with folks before scheduling them for a first session, simply to ensure that we are a good fit (both scheduling wise and in my own clinical skills). To the same effect, YOU deserve to feel confident in choosing a therapist (comparison shopping encouraged!).

Tuesday Counseling is unable to provide medication prescriptions, ADHD/Autism assessments, court-mandated counseling, and letters for ESA or disability.

Per Texas ethical guidelines for therapists, your information is kept confidential with a few exceptions. Theses include:
- Court subpoena of records
- Client is deemed an immediate harm to self or another
- Counselor is made aware of child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of person with disabilities (mandated reporting)
Client records are held for seven years following service termination and thereafter destroyed.

A standard session is 50 minutes long. This is to allow breaks between back-to-back sessions. The intake session is longer, at 75 minutes, to ensure thorough history taking and goal-setting.

This is entirely dependent on your preferences and needs! Some folks feel that bi-weekly (every two weeks) is sufficient, while others prefer once weekly, once monthly, as needed, etc. This is always up to you, and can change with your circumstances.
